Nayab Ikram, a visual artist from the Åland islands, got the chance to participate in a residency programme called Plein AiR Residency, arranged by Art Lab Gnesta. Art Lab Gnesta received support for artists residencies in 2019 in order to invite artists to work on new artworks. The residency programme is run in collaboration with Västerås konstmuseum and the participating artists get a chance to exhibit at the museum.
