One of the granted projects was “Project 45+ to Hammerfest 2018”. The applicants had previously applied, and been granted, both short and long term networking funding. The main idea of the project is to develop the concept that has been undergoing for some time, that of working with choreographers and dancers in the age group 45+. The travel to Hammerfest in Norway will allow the participants to discover new ideas, opportunities and to identify ways on how to further develop the artistic qualities of choreographers and dancers in the specific age group.
The mobility funding provides applicants, who may be individuals or small groups, access to contacts, skills and knowledge from different parts of the region. Funding may also be used to present artistic and cultural productions and to increase interest in Nordic and Baltic art and culture. Mobility funding is intended for the travel and/or stay of professional artists or cultural workers within Nordic and/or Baltic countries.
