Discussion: Norwegian parliamentary election 2021

Norway heads to the polls on 13 September to vote in an election dominated by issues such as the climate, education, social equality, and district policy. What path will our neighbour take in the coming years?

Prime Minister Erna Solberg and her party, the Conservative Party of Norway, have been in power for the past eight years. It’s possible that the Labour Party, led by Jonas Gahr Störe, will take over. But it’s neck and neck, and anything can still happen.  Will there be a change of government in Norway?

Join us for an election breakfast to listen to analyses of the results and speculations about the future.

The expert panel will consist of:

Norway’s ambassador to Finland Dag Stangnes
Editor in Chief Topi Lappalainen
Lise Larsen, former Board member of the Norwegian-Finnish Trade Association.

The discussion will be led by Associate Professor Johan Strang from the University of Helsinki.

Breakfast is served from 8.00
