Both beginners and more advanced speakers are welcome. Admission is free, and we will provide refreshments!
How the Language Café works:
The Language Café is hosted at the Nordic Culture Point library, located at Kaisaniemenkatu 9, Helsinki.
We start the event with two presentations: the first presentation is about the activities of Nordic Culture Point, and the second focuses on the Sámi culture and the Sámi languages.
After the presentations, it is time to enjoy refreshments and practice the language.
The native speaker leads the discussion, and the topics are chosen together with the participants. As a participant, you can be as active in the discussion as you wish.
You are free to come and go as you please during the event.
Please note that the event takes place between 17:00 and 19:00 Finnish time (UTC+3).
