World Village Festival: Family workshop Jää sulaa!
World Village Festival, Kaisaniemi Park, Helsinki, Finland
Jää sulaa is a workshop for the entire family inspired by the 2030 Agenda. Participants make water music in a melting ice house as professional storytellers relate stories about the north, ice, water and ourselves. Children can take an active role in the stories by coming up with solutions to the challenges of our warming planet.
The workshop is led by Annantalo musician Janne Storm and storytellers Carla-Rose Häkkinen and Ilkka Hautala from the Nordic Culture Point. The ice is provided by IceMagic.
All ages may participate, small children should be accompanied by an adult.
