Vi firar lillajul på Kaisaniemigatan med en nordisk mini-julmarknad där du kan köpa nordiska specialiteter. Under dagen kan du också njuta av vårt julcafé med danska smörrebröd, berättelser om nordiska jultraditioner och aktiviteter och sång för hela familjen.

Visste du att Island har 13 olika jultomtar? Eller att man i Norge äter fårhuvud till jul? Kom och lär dig mer om jultraditioner från olika delar av Norden.

Vi erbjuder också en bred palett av julsmaker: svensk glögg, danska smörrebröd, norska kransekaker, isländskt godis och finsk fisk och sylt. På den nordiska julmarknaden kan du köpa juldelikatesser, dekorationer och konsthantverk från Nordens alla hörn.

I vår pysselhörna kan barnen lyssna på sagor och göra egna juldekorationer till julgranen. Vi sjunger också julssånger och lär oss det danska spelet Gnav.

Akademiska Damkören Lyran sjunger in julen med sånger från hela Norden, och du får också höra mer om färiska jultraditioner och om gamla kvad (traditionella färiska sånger) då Pól Arni Holm från Hamradun äntrar scenen för en en kort presentation.

Vårt nordiska bibliotek är också öppet under evenemanget, så du kan samtidigt passa på att låna hem några av våra intressanta nordiska titlar!

Musik & Aktiviteter

– En kvartett ur Akademiska damkören Lyran sjunger julsånger från hela Norden under dagen.
– Vi skålar for Islands 100 år av autonomi och smakar på äkta (alkoholfritt)  isländsk julöl kl. 12.00
– Gnav: Lär dig det gamla danska spelet kl. 13.30 och 14.45

– Island firar 100-årsjubileét för sin autonomi kl. 11.30
– Danska jultraditioner och Norsk julmat kl. 13.00
– Grönländska jultraditioner och Färöiska kvad kl. 13.45
– Åländska Jultraditioner  kl. 15.15

Barnprogram:

– Pysselhörna hela dagen: gör dit eget julpynt.
– Sånglekar runt julgranen kl. 12.45 och 14.15
– Sagostund: svenska gillet läser svenska julsagor kl. 12.00 , 13.30 och 14.45
