Concert “Nordic Passion” by the Baltic jazz musicians
1.9.2018 19:30–21:00
Temppeliaukion kirkko, Lutherinkatu 3, 00100 Helsinki

It was a while ago when the two Estonian leaders of the band – the sax player Villu Veski and the accordionist Tiit Kalluste discovered for themselves the singular grace and refined melancholy of the music of the North.
Cooperating with other Baltic musicians adds unique rhythms and sounds to the duo’s compositions. With this addition, the music expresses the invisible link between the countries’ traditional and contemporary music, representing the musical language of „Nordic Passion“.
Villu Veski, saxophones (EST), Tiit Kalluste, accordion (EST), Taavo Remmel, double bass (EST), Raimonds Macats, keyboards (LV) and Valerijus Ramoška, trumpet (LT).
In Temppeliaukion kirkko, free admission.
The event is part of the festival program.
