Meet Caroline Bankler, co-author of Björn Natthiko Lindeblad’s gripping book Jag kan ha fel (which roughly translates as ‘I may be wrong’). She is interviewed by Eva Kela. The book is an autobiographical story about Björn who leaves a successful career as an economist to become a Buddhist forest monk in Thailand. After 17 years in the monastery, he returns to Sweden, lost, without a job and with no money. Eventually he gets emerges from his depression and starts teaching as a meditation teacher. In 2018, he was diagnosed with the incurable nerve disease ALS. In January 2022, Björn Natthiko Lindeblad passed away having lived with the disease for several years.
Caroline Bankler works as a producer and project manager. She got to know Björn through their public speaking and they quickly became good friends. Caroline was tour producer for Björn Natthiko Lindeblad’s acclaimed performance Nycklar till frihet (which roughly translates as ‘The keys to freedom’) which was seen by more than 20,000 spectators.
