The project is development of a board game that communicates Greenlandic mythology. The game is currently on a conceptual level, which is why the project will be about expanding the part about Greenlandic mythology, and testing the game with the target group, Greenlandic children and their family.

The project’s essence is to create a bustling platform at this year’s festival for Nordic makers and artists in the field of classical vocal music. They will share their performances, teachings and experience with each other and will be invited to network and attend each other events.

Two separate exhibition spaces in two countries, and a third layer of VR/AR environments, create a dialogue via art tying together Finnish and Swedish people. Artists as catalysts in community engaged street art create separated diptychs, demanding the viewer to visit both spaces in both countries.

”An unconventional striptease” is a poetic ode to cinematic romance. Performers Ian Yves Ancheta and Iannes Bruylant present an intimate portrait of a relationship between two men in an attempt to rewrite the narrative of gay romantic cinema.

Sequences XI is the central art festival in Reykjavik that explores new perspectives and ways of seeing as we are currently witnessing significant historical turns in terms of geopolitics and climate change. The festival will have a big emphasis on the artists from the Nordic and Baltic region.

KRATT festival is a Nordic-Baltic cooperation project that brings together children and young people aged 10-20 from all over the region to explore classical music and music theatre by participating and collaborating in workshops, ensembles and orchestras.

Southnord är en nyetablerad plattform vars mål är att göra plats för och lyfta fram det konstnärliga skapandet av afro-nordiska kreatörer med fokus på de visuella konstarterna. Southnord planerar en konstfesttriennal med konstnärer från Sverige, Danmark, Norge, Finland och Island.

Søsterskap highlights women photographers’ strong role over several generations in the Nordic countries. The exhibition brings together photographers based in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Søsterskap explores the welfare state from a perspective of intersectional feminism.

«Witch Club Satan: Bloodmother» is a feminist, black metal performance mixing theater and music in a brutal, hopeful and extreme expression. The new performance by Lost and Found productions is drawing upon the universe of Witch Club Satan, and will be presented in Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Vi vil sette fokus på den samiske poesien, samt poetiske sjangere formidlet av flerkulturelle forfattere fra Norden. Vi skal undersøke hvilken ulike motstandsstrategier som preger denne diktningen, og på hvilken måte bidrar den til å utvikle de nordiske språkene, og hva det vil si og være nordisk.

PAV er et scenekunstprosjekt som bygger samarbeid og fellesskap i Arktis. Ti artister fra Norge, Sverige, Finland, Færøyene, Island, Grønland, Canada, Alaska og Russland møtes til en iscenesatt sangkonkurranse under Varangerfestivalen i Vadsø (NO), au 2023. Publikum deltar live og online.

ICE HOT OSLO 24 er en dansekunstplattform som presenterer nordisk dans for arrangører fra hele verden og er en møteplass for hele det nordiske dansefeltet. ICE HOT 24 arrangeres av Dansens Hus, Oslo i samarbeid med fire andre nordiske partnere, har Arktis som fokusområde og bærekraft som eget mål.

Den 3-5 juli 2023 anordnar SmåBUS (Barn- och Ungdomslitteratur Småland) för andra gången en internationell barnbokskonferens (www.smabusfestival.se), numera med temat ”Mod och sårbarhet”, på Sörängens folkhögskola i Nässjö (Småland, Sverige).

En forum och showcase för kunskapsutbyte, nätverkande och spridande av scenkonst för ung publik inom de Nordisk-Baltiska länderna. Projektet främjar ”lokala” internationella turnéer och utbyten som bevarar scenkonsten som live-händelse men samtidigt är hållbara ur ett klimatperspektiv.

Till tonerna av fredstid i europeisk krigstid ger BRAVO TOG en immersiv utomhus skidbalett. Med en koreografisk, dramatisk och “practice-based” utforskning av längdskidåkningen på rullskidors potential skapar vi en “guidad-tur-föreställning” om mänskliga mikro och makro kriser.

Copenhagen Photo Festival 2023 (CPF), in collaboration with FUTURES, is organising a two-days Meet Up around photography (June 1-2, 2023). Various events are set up so that the FUTURES talents can meet all the festival’s partners (artists, curators and professionals).

Our goal is to establish a partnership between Sisus and Fauna circus guided by director and mentor Jason Dupree. Together, we’ll build the groundwork to co-produce and co-direct a new show, bridging the experiences between all partners with the aim of establishing a long-term working partnership.

Nordiskt Ljus söker stöd för att kunna ta emot 6st residenskonstnärer att spendera 1 månad på Nordiska folkhögskolan i Kungälv sommaren 2023. I residenset ingår mat, boende, arbetslokaler, handledning och en publik visning på Nordiskt Ljus avslutande festivalhelg.

We aim to brings together performing arts professionals to discuss climate justice and equity in green transitions. The Nordic and Arctic region will be showcased through talks by some of our strongest thinkers and through an artistic programme revealing hard truths through unique artistic lenses.

En nordisk tvärvetenskaplig konferens om perspektiv på källor till samisk historia där Sanningskommissionerna, arkivarier, forskare och politiker i Norden möts under två dagar. Young Arctic Artists 2023-näyttely esittelee nuoria taiteilijoita pohjoisilta alueilta. Näyttely on esillä syksyllä 2023 Suomessa Galleria Napassa Rovaniemellä ja Ruotsin puoleisella Meänmaalla Korpilombolo Night Festin yhteydessä sekä keväällä 2024 Norjassa Terminal B -galleriassa Kirkkoniemessä.

A new production that highlights the vocal musical tradition of indigenous and ethnic groups in the northern regions. The well-known Norwegian quartet Transjoik will collaborate with indigenous artists in this production where light design and electronics will create an extra dimension.
